Here is a picture of Cleo with her new fur cut. Yes, finally my mom got a picture of Cleo from Cleo's mom, Liz. Thanks, Liz!

Okay, that was just a part of Cleo. Here she is lounging on her mom's bed. Isn't she beautiful? Yes, she is!
On Dec.29th I got to see Randy up close and personal. Well, up close and behind a fence!! It was so nice to see him. We even gave each other an Eskimo kiss! I was trying to find a way through or over the fence to see Randy so I put my front paws on the fence. But I couldn't figure out how to get to Randy. Hmmm. I'll have to work on that!
Later in the walk the PG&(no)E guy was walking around reading meters (that's what grandma called it). He was walking behind me. I don't like it when people I don't know walk behind me. How do I know what they're up to unless I keep my eyes on them? They might try to kidnap me!!!!
That night I spent an hour on my grandparents bed just so they remember that I'm allowed up there any time I want to be there.

Relaxing in bed over Christmas break.
On Saturday the 26th I saw a squirrel running around on our front deck. I would have loved to chase him!
Sunday we went for a walk and I got to see Randy. We didn't go up to his fence though. Later grandma made me some homemade dog biscuits. Yum! They have pumpkin in them. Pumpkin is supposed to be good for a dog's digestive system. I don't know about that. I just know they taste so good!
Mom took me for a walk early Monday morning. I knew something was up because mom doesn't usually take me for a walk by herself. When we got home, grandma enticed me upstairs and into the bathroom. They tossed me in the tub and gave me a bath!!! Okay, so they didn't exactly toss me in. But a bath?!? Did I stink that much? I did try to get out of the tub once but other than that I think I was well-behaved. Who wouldn't try to get out of the tub? Who wants to be that wet? Anyway, they used some nice smelling shampoo and conditioner (yes, conditioner) on my fur and I have to say I did smell rather nice after the bath. It took forever for my fur to dry! But when it finally did, mom brushed me for a long time. It felt so good. And my fur is so nice and silky soft now. I guess that conditioner really makes a difference.
Later in the afternoon papa took me for a walk by himself. It was a very nice walk. While grandma was making dinner, I was lying down in the kitchen. Papa wasn't watching where he was going and tripped over me. I thought I hurt my leg but it was okay after I walked it off. Papa was okay too.
