No Dog Left Behind
On January 4th mom had to go back to work. I missed her. I wish she could be home all the time. But she says someone has to pay for my dog food and other doggie expenses. Did I mention that she calls me "Sweetie"? I like that!
On our walk we saw a guy at this house and he said I looked like a wolf. He said that he has a wolf that is bigger than me and a male. Well, I might look like a wolf but I'm not really one. I don't think I'd like to meet his wolf. I've read the stories of Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. Wolves can be mean!
I got to taste carrots today. Grandma was putting some mini carrots in a bag and one fell on the floor. I went running into the kitchen. I've been told that any food that hits the floor is mine. "Clean up on aisle 4!" Anyway, I ate the carrot but when grandma tried to give me another one, I didn't want it. I'm not sure yet if I like them or not. On a related note... I've got to get grandma to trip over me while she's carrying a roast. Once it hits the floor, it is mine per Canine Statute 4.2 Section 3 Subsection 2.1 (a.k.a. The No Dog Left Behind Statute).
The next day on our walk my leash got a little tangled while my papa was holding it. He called me a dingbat! Well, I howled at him and gave him what for! The leash is NOT my responsibility!!

Happy New Year!!
Okay, so it's already April when I'm writing this but I'm going back to the beginning of the year so I can update you on everything that's been going on in my busy life.
I know I'm going to have a spectacular year now that I have a wonderful family. My human pack! I hope you have a wonderful new year too.
We went for a walk in the rain on January 1st. I love the rain. It smells so good! I even got to jump in some puddles. We met Teddy & Lily's dad today. He didn't say I was beautiful. What's wrong with this guy? Hmmph! Maybe he thought Teddy & Lily would be jealous. Yeah, that's probably the reason.
The power went out for about an hour. Nice way to start the new year, PG&no-E!!
January 4th was my 4 month anniversary at my new home. I love it here! We went for a walk again and I saw some people talking in a driveway. I had to pull grandma over there so we could introduce ourselves. They said I was beautiful and that it was nice of my family to support the humane society where they adopted me from.
That evening grandma and mom gave me what they called a "deep tissue massage." I wasn't sure about it at first. But I decided I liked it after all. I hope there are more of those in my future!! I've got these humans wrapped around my little paw.
Later the electricity went out again. What is going on? I really think PG&E should officially change their name to PG&no-E because they can't seem to keep the power on in 2010.
